Title: Butterflies 
Tag line: We Move Around Together – modified to – We Explore the World

Technique used: Principle of Movement – Repetition/Rhythm

Visual Concept Description: I have chosen butterflies as my object for this poster because there are thousands of butterfly species found around the world. The same situation goes to the number ethnicity or culture group which can be found in this world. Therefore, I used different species of butterflies to symbolize the country it came from and these indirectly remind the viewer(s)/observer(s) the uniqueness of the culture which is found in the country and the bonding relationship that ties those countries together.

Vindula Dejone
Atrophaneura Aristolochiae
Hypolimnas Anomala
Cirrochroa Emalea 

Technical Execution: Adobe Photoshop CS 3 -  I have used move tools, magic eraser tools. Besides that, I have used Flitter – Blur, Gaussian Blur, Smart Blur (for a blur effects).
For contrast image or colour, I did it through image – colour adjustment (curve). For a sketchy look I applied Flitter – artistic – poster edges.

Title: Lovely Flowers
Tag line: We Florish Together
Technique used: Principle of Emphasis and Principle of Balance – asymmetrical balance

Visual Concept Description: For this poster I have used flowers to symbolizes countries and to create the image or perception how each and every country ties together in terms of economic relationship, tradition, education, rituals, beliefs and etc, which is similar to visual concept in the first poster(above). But for this poster I did research on the national flowers for every countries and some particular flowers which symbolizes cultural values.

Yellow Hibiscus
Keylargosm

Technical Execution: Adobe Photoshop CS 3 – I have used Polygonal Lasso Tools (Petal cutting). I have applied Blur tools. Beside that, I have used image – adjustment (Hue/saturation) to change petal colours. For background colour around the flowers I have used Flitter – artistic (fresco).

Title: Lamps
Tag line: The Light of Love
Technique used: Principle of Space – overlapping objects and Elements of Texture (lamps)

Visual Concept Description: For this poster I have use lamp as my object to convey intercultural aspect because every culture uses lamp as part of their tradition. As we know Indian, Chinese, Muslims uses lamp for their festivals like Deepavalli, Chinese New Year, Hari Raya and etc. Therefore lamps play an important role and also represent intercultural value when I create this artwork into a poster design.

Technical Execution: Adobe Photoshop CS 3 – I have used eraser tool (change opacity to 30 for merging all three types of lamp together). Besides that, I have used image – adjustment (level – for darker image). Last but not least I have used Flitter – blur (smart blur – for perfect image) and Flitter – sketch (charcoal – for sketchy look).
